Decision making part 2

I'm not a particularly visual person in terms of pictures - I know what I like but I can't really use it to make decisions. I've realised after spending months doing this exact thing.

I am visual in terms of diagrams however, and thought that this instead would be the way to help me with making decisions.

I realised that my problem was I didn't know which decision to make first. The best way to represent this was a mind map as I could interlink everything.

I did this one on bubbl.us. You'll probably have to click on it to see the detail.Now I'm obviously not claiming that this is exhaustive, but it gave me a good start point.
I've now managed to fill in a lot of the boxes with actual ideas and this highlighted where there were still decisions to make.

I also created more detailed ones for some of the areas like my outfit.

First signs of stress

The week started off well as we visited what will now be come known as the dream venue. It is beautiful, has a great layout and everything we need. The location seems at first glance to also be great. But then the realisation struck about the ceremony. I was doing as my very detailed and helpful to do list instructed for the 12-18 month period before W-day, and checking out the legal side of getting married. I checked the legalities of church and civil ceremonies, and only at that point found out that we can't make a civil ceremony into the religious one which would suit our complex needs, in fact you can't make it religious at all. Blue love

I love love love this inspiration board on The Finer Things blog for their 25th Wedding Wednesdays! Makes me feel secure in my want of a blue wedding... They posted more blue boards, based on the invite in the top row, during the day yesterday. Beautiful! Yes, I know I said I was stopping looking while the first crisis is happening, but those blog posts don't stop arriving!

Going Underground

We were walking through Greenwich on very sunny Saturday and saw some people walk through with a London Underground table plan ( Greenwich maritime is a beautiful wedding venue, we looked at it ourselves but stopped looking when we saw the price!). So that has led to a big rethink and a more modern think on the decor ideas. Roll London transport related pics: It would be a good theme as I am a transport geek!
